The Pacific men's volleyball team fell to third ranked Hawai'i in three games, March 25 at the Spanos Center. Adamson's 15 kills led the Tigers, but were not enough as the Tigers lost 30-27, 30-19 and 30-23.
Both Matt Cornell and Blake Gentry hit above .500, with Cornell hitting 5-7 and Gentry going 6-9. Setter Mitchel Hazelett added 40 assists and libero Morales led the Tigers with 10 digs.
In game one the Tigers took an early led and kept ahead of the Warriors until Hawai'i overtook Pacific at 22-21 and eventually won 30-27. In game to the Tigers dug themselves an early hole at 3-10 and never recovered as the Warriors cruised to a 30-19 victory. Game three was much of the same as Hawai'i closed out the match with a 30-23 win.
The Tigers are back in action for another game with the Warriors at the Spanos Center on Monday, March 27 at 7:00 pm.
