Tigers Fall to No. 2 Pepperdine 6-1

Malibu, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team fell to No. 2 Pepperdine by the score of 6-1 in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday, Mar. 18.

Freshman Tim Koniarski (Bad Abbach, Germany) scored the Tigers lone point, winning a 7-5, 6-4 decision over Pepperdine's Richard Johnson at the No. 3 singles position.

Freshman Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) and junior Alan Kelly (Dublin, Ireland) took the No. 3 doubles position, while Starke tallied 13 points in a two-set loss to Pepperdine's Andre Begemann, which include a tiebreak.

The Tigers are next in action on Sunday, Mar. 19 as they take on Dartmouth in Huntington Beach, Calif.
