Tigers fall to No. 1 Cal, 162-83

Berkeley, Calif. - The Pacific women's swimming team fell to No. 1 Cal, 162-83, in a non-conference dual meet on Nov. 3 at Spieker Aquatics Center in Berkeley, Calif. With the loss the Tigers fell to 1-1 on the season, while Cal improved to a perfect 5-0.

In the meet, junior Ja-Neil Bragg (Manteca, Calif.) won two individual events for the Tigers. In the third event of the day Bragg placed first in the 200 Free with a time of 1:49.78 just edging out Cal's Emily Silver who swam a 1:49.79 who finish second. Then, ten events later, Ja-Neil finished first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.49 for her second victory of the day.

The Pacific men's and women's swimming teams will next be in action at the Texas A&M Invitational to be held in College Station, Texas on Nov. 17-19.
