DAVIS, Calif. – The Pacific women's swimming and diving program put the finishing touches on its regular season campaign, posting a pool record amidst a 183-91 loss to UC Davis on Saturday from the Schaal Aquatics Center.
The Tigers (6-3) found a bright spot in the form of sophomore
Christina Agiomamitou setting a pool record at Schaal Aquatics Center in the 200 yard frees, securing first place with a time of 1:48.77. Agiomamitou was one of three Tigers to secure first place in an event on Saturday afternoon in the effort against the Aggies (3-5).
Agiomamitou was a part of a first-place position twice more: in the 500 yard free, clocking in a time of 4:55.85, and in the 400 yard free relay (3:26.48), swimming the first leg in that event.
Freshman
Ava Harlos notched a first-place finish in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:10.54. Senior
Annelise Thomas and freshman
Sydney Meyer finished in second and third place following Harlos with times of 2:11.57 and 2:17.35, respectively.
Junor
Lexxi Chavez competed in the diving portion, collecting a one-meter score of 214.80 for the first-place points there.
With the regular season in the rearview mirror, Pacific looks ahead to the MPSF Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley from Wednesday, Feb. 25 to Saturday, Feb. 28.
