STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific, known as Water Polo U, is offering another water polo educational component: a post-game clinic 30 minutes following the eight home men's water polo games this season. The 60-minute clinic is open to male and female high school students. Moderate swimming ability is preferred.
Each clinic this fall will be directed by women's water polo head coach Candice Vorbeck and will include participation of Pacific student-athletes. The cost of the clinic is $10 per session, which will include admission to the water polo match.
"We are excited to conduct these post-game clinics," Vorbeck said. "We hope to engage fans, grow interest in water polo in our local community and innovate how clinics are conducted withing college athletics and our sport specifically. We are looking to grow this game day tradition as we have grown our pregame tailgates and electrifying in-game atmosphere."
