WCC Unveils Men’s Water Polo Bracket, No. 6 Pacific Earns Top Seed

USAFA, Colo. – After winning the West Coast Conference Regular Season Championship for the second year in a row, the sixth-ranked Pacific men's water polo program earned the top seed for the conference tournament and a bye to the semifinals, the league announced Friday.

The tournament is hosted by Air Force at Cadet Natatorium.

The Tigers (15-7, 5-1 WCC) will play Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. (PT) against the winner of fourth-seeded LMU and fifth-seeded CBU. The Lions and the Lancers will square off at 3 p.m. (PT) Friday.

Pacific beat both teams in regular season match-ups this season. The Tigers ousted LMU 15-11 on the road on Oct. 19 before coming home to top CBU 14-11 on Nov. 2. LMU is ranked No. 12 nationally, while CBU is No. 16.

San Jose State earned the No. 2 seed and will face seventh-seeded Air Force in the quarterfinals. Pepperdine was tabbed as the No. 3 seed and will battle sixth-seeded Santa Clara.

If the Tigers win next Saturday, they'll be playing for their first-ever WCC Tournament title since the championship began in 2023. The championship match is slated for 12 p.m. (PT) Sunday, Nov. 23 and the winner earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
