STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific golfer Alex Barclay advanced out of U.S. Open local qualifying on Tuesday, May 16, competing at The Club at Ruby Hill in Pleasanton, Calif.
Barclay earned one of the top sports to move onto final qualifying after posting a three-under-par 69, claiming a share of fifth place out of 73 competitors.
Barclay will now compete at the Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles on Monday, June 5, for a chance to participate in this year's U.S. Open at the Los Angeles Country Club from June 15-18.
