Former Tiger Brett Sullivan Makes Major League Debut With San Diego Padres

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Former Pacific Tiger Brett Sullivan will make his Major League debut tonight with the San Diego Padres, catching Padres starter Blake Snell. 

Sullivan has been with the Padres, Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bays Rays minor league systems after being drafted by the Rays in the 17th round of the 2015 draft. 

Sullivan also competed in the World Baseball Classic with Team Italy earlier this year. 

Sullivan was hitting .270 with six RBI and nine runs scored in 37 games with the Padres Triple-A affiliate El Paso Chihuahuas. 

The Padres host the Atlanta Braves tonight at 6:40 p.m. local time. Fans looking to catch Sullivans' debut can watch on Bally Sports San Diego.
