Pacific Tops LMU in Saturday Slugfest

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific baseball program outlasted LMU in a barn burner, earning their fourth straight West Coast Conference series victory with a 15-9 win on Saturday afternoon at Klein Family Field.

With a season-high 15 runs, the Tigers (19-25, 11-9 WCC) wasted no time taking advantage of the Lions' (12-36, 3-17 WCC) pitching, posting a double-digit run total for the second time against a conference foe in as many weeks.

The first five hitters in head coach Reed Peters' lineup combined for 12-for-25 with ten runs and eight RBIs. Six Tigers produced multi-hit outings while five Tigers scored at least a pair of runs or more. All but one Tiger in the lineup recorded at least one hit against the LMU staff.

Graduate student Brendan O'Sullivan put a charge into a two-run left field blast for his fourth home run of the season. O'Sullivan registered his fourth straight multi-hit performance, slashing two more hits today with a team-leading three RBIs and two runs.

Redshirt sophomore Robert Orr added three more hits to his team-leading batting average of .314 and scored a game-high three runs. Junior Braeden Schnabel has tied his RBI total from his 2025 campaign, plating a couple more Tigers today for 17 RBIs this season. Schnabel also had three hits on the day, tying Orr for the most in the matinee.

Following a three-inning start from graduate student Adan Perez, graduate student Ethan Shaver (3-1) picked up the win for his third of the season, tying a career-high win total set last year.

Redshirt junior Carson Revay was asked to complete a four-inning save and did exactly that. The southpaw stopper recorded the final 12 outs, eight of which came via a strikeout – marking a single-game high for Revay and any Tiger reliever this year. With the save, Revay picked up his eighth in that category on the year, moving up to a tie for the second-most saves in a single season in program history with Hunter Schilperoort (2022) and Vince Arobio (2015).

Saturday's victory allowed the Tigers to clinch their fourth consecutive WCC series for just the second time in program history since the 2014 campaign. Pacific defeated San Francisco, Saint Mary's, San Diego and Portland that year from April 11 to May 11.

Pacific is now one win away from tying their total of 20 victories from a season ago, which could become back-to-back seasons of 20+ wins since 2018-2019.

The Tigers will seek to go for the sweep against the Lions with a first pitch slated for 1 p.m. from Klein Family Field.
