Tigers Head South for Convergence Tournament

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The #15 Pacific women's water polo team (9-4) travels South for the Pomona Pitzer Invitational March 3-4.

"We're hoping for four big wins this weekend to round out our tournament schedule," said Head Coach James Graham. "These women continue to push through adversities this season, and we are seeing growth across the board. We're looking forward to facing some strong opponents and getting even better."

The Tigers take on #22 Long Island (6-7) and Fresno Pacific (6-8) on Friday and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (2-5) and Mount St. Mary's (6-2) on Saturday.

This will be the first time the Tigers take on the Sharks, as LIU's program began in 2020. The game is at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 3.

The Tigers are 18-0 all-time against the Sunbirds of Fresno Pacific. In January, the Tigers defeated the Sunbirds 24-8 in Riverside at California Baptist's Lancer Joust. This game kicks off at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, March 3.

Against the Athenas, the Tigers hold a 2-1 record. The teams last faced each other in 2010, with the Tigers boasting a 16-2 win. 11:30 a.m. will be the ball drop for this game on Saturday, March 4.

The Tigers take on The Mount for the first time on Saturday, March 4, at 3:15 p.m.
