ELKHART, Ind. - The Pacific swim teams wrap up the final day of the National Invitational Championships, closing out the 2022-23 season. The men's team finished 24th of 41 teams with a score of 134.5 points, while the women's team ended up 43rd of 58 competing teams with a score of 30.
"Another great night for the Tigers. Dylan and Mitchell led the men today with strong finishes in the finals," said Head Coach Katelyne Herrington. "Noemi was our stand out for our ladies just off her lifetime best in the 200 fly."
Dylan Parente placed 9th with a time of 44.31 in the 100 free. This was his second A final of the tournament leading the Tigers. In the 100 IM, Mitchell Hopper placed 15th with a time of 50.01 in the B final.Â
Parente, Hopper, Alex Kurotori and Aidan Vollmar all contributed to an 18th-place finish with a time of 3:00.17 in the 400 free relay.Â
"I'm so impressed with all the swimmers here. We swam very well, and it was an incredible experience for the team," said Herrington.
