ST. GEORGE, Utah - The Pacific men's and women's swim teams return to Stockton after an impressive three days of racing at the Utah Tech Invite. The Tiger men ended with a 4th place finish with 511 points and the women in 8th place with 165.5 points. Multiple Tigers clocked best times over the duration of the invite as many raced their way to NIC cuts.

The final morning began with the 200 backstroke prelim which featured four Tiger women.
Jordyn Gonzales and
Ellie Macphail both improved on their seeded times, clocking a 2:06.36 and 2:09.98 respectively.
Kelly Kermoian led all Tigers with a 2:04.18.

On the men's side,
Leland Baltazar took the seventh fastest time of the morning with a 1:49.78, taking a huge leap from his seeded time.
Alex Kurotori came in just behind with a 1:50.08, while
Kyle Capili improved to a 1:53.89.

In the 100 free,
Paige Sondgeroth took the 11th top time of the morning, clocking a 51.35 for one of her best times this season.
Alexia Ferguson came in with a 52.19, while
Patty Torres improved to a 54.18.
Mitchell Hopper clocked the second best time in the 100 free on Saturday morning with a 44.40 for a personal best.
Dylan Parente claimed a season best with a 45.12.

Parente returned for a swim off at the conclusion of the 200 butterfly where he finished with a 44.85.

Following was the 200 breaststroke, with
Annelise Thomas getting to the wall with a 2:22.29.
Aidan Vollmar took second in the 200 breaststroke prelim with a 2:03.33, while
Ethan Cole took fourth with 2:04.02.

Both
Noemi Melendez and
Aidan Scott raced well in the 200 fly. Melendez clocked a 2:07.64 and Scott took fourth on the men's side with a 1:50.88 mark.

Saturday's finals opened with the 1650 free, with
Diana Chan,
Gabe Windmiller and
Aidan Vulgas all scoring for the Tigers.

The evening moved to the 200 back finals, where Kermoian took third in the B final, improving from the morning to a 2:03.49. Chan claimed first in the C final, moving to a 2:05.67 on the day. Macphail and Rishwain also improved in the C final, clocking a 2:09.83 and 2:14.45 respectively.

Baltazar took eight in the 200 back A final, while Kurotori took first in the B final after racing to a 1:49.90. Capili improved to a 1:52.72 in the B final.

Sondgeroth scored off a 51.79 for the Tigers in the 100 free B final. Ferguson moved to a 51.67 in the C final. Hopper earned a third place finish in the A final, moving to a 43.85 for a new personal best. Parente took first in the B final improving to a personal best 44.72.

Thomas took first in the 200 breaststroke B final after improving to a 2:19.28. Vollmar (2:02.05) and Cole (2:02.54) took third and sixth respectively in the men's 200 breaststroke A final.Â

In the 200 fly, Melendez took eighth in the B final, while
Emma Hooper moved to a 2:12.41. Scott took seventh in the mens with a 1:52.04

Three Tigers raced in the 1000 free at the conclusion of the 400 free relays, with Chan (10:36.73), Windmiller (10:10.11) and Vulgas (10:14.44) all representing the Tigers.

The men took third with their A relay clocking a 2:58.33. The women earned a seventh place finish with their A relay after earning a 3:28.73 mark.Â

Pacific returns to host California Baptist in its second home meet of the year on Saturday, Dec. 2.
