STOCKTON, Calif. – After a big win over Sacramento State on the road, the Tigers will return home to face Santa Clara.
Brandon Motheral leads the Tigers in batting average (.348) with seven extra-base hits and a team-high .545 slugging percentage.
Colby Canales is hitting .311 with nine extra-base hits and four home runs.
Thomas Gavello leads the Tigers in home runs (5), RBI (20), total bases (41) and stolen bases (4).
Chaz Myers leads the Tigers in hits (24), at-bats (90) and doubles (7).
Caden Duke and
Jackson Vaughan lead the Tigers in ERA (2.45).
Hunter Hayes leads the Tigers in innings pitched (28.2) and strikeouts (24). Vaughan and
Nick Swanson lead the Tigers in appearances (12).
Tyler Stout leads the Tigers in wins with two.
Motheral is seventh in the WCC in batting average, Myers is tied for fourth in doubles and second in HBP (8). Gavello is tied for fourth in home runs and sixth in RBI.
Santa Clara is on a two-game losing streak heading into the weekend but the Broncos have won four of their past six. The Tigers are 7-3 over their past 10 games against the Broncos, including an 11-3 win the last time the two teams matched up.
