Box Score 2 SANTA CLARA, Calif – Sunday brought another split for the Tigers, winning their game against the Marist Red Foxes 10-6 and losing their game against the Brown Bears 8-6.
The team first took on the Red Foxes at the Sullivan Aquatics Center Sunday morning.
Senior
Emma Myall scored the first goal for the Tigers, assisted by freshman
Szamira Koppány. Less than a minute later, graduate student,
Mariana Duarte found the back of the net for the Tigers. After only another minute and a half, Duarte scored for the Tigers again.
At the end of the first, the Tigers led 3-2.
Senior
Toula Falvey scored for the Tigers to open the second, with an assist credited to Duarte. Then, an assist by senior
Lucy Davis allowed Duarte to score again. The Tigers' two goals brought the score to 5-2.
The third saw another shut-out for the Red Foxes but three more goals for the Tigers. Senior

Clara Vulpisi asissts on a Koppany goal. With 39 seconds left in the quarter, Utas scores with help from Koppany.
The score now 8-2 for the Tigers.
The fourth quarter saw some fight from the Red Foxes, scoring four goals to Pacific's two. One each by sophomore
Annikah Lillie and Duarte, with an assist from freshman
Hila Futorian. 10-6 was the final, and the Tigers check one off in the win column.
Goalkeeper Vulpisi had nine saves throughout the game for a .600 save percentage.
Game two on Sunday afternoon saw the Tigers facing the Bears of Brown, again at the Sullivan Aquatics Center.
Brown came out strong, scoring five goals in the first and only one goal each quarter following. The Tigers' only goal of the first came two and a half minutes into the quarter on a powerplay—Futorian scores with an assist from Davis.
The second quarter was the strongest for the Tigers, with four goals—the first from Davis. Koppany asissts Duarte on the second. Then, Duarte scores on a penalty shot. The final goal of the quarter for the Tigers came with one second left on the clock when Myall capitalized on a powerplay.
Down 7-6, the Tigers didn't score in the final quarter, but Brown scored once. 8-6 was the final in favor of the Bears.
Vulpisi had 12 saves in goal, another .600 save percentage for the redshirt-junior.
Pacific now holds a 6-1 lifetime record against the Red Foxes and 1-4 against the Bears.
The Tigers travel to UC Davis for their next game on March 4 at 6 p.m.
