LOS ANGELES – Senior
Kelsey Lloyd advanced to the championship finals for the second day as the Pacific men's and women's swim teams wrapped up the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Saturday.
Lloyd advanced to the championship final in the 200-yard breaststroke and placed eighth with a time of 2:20.37. She placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday and was the top finisher for the women's program on both days.
"I'm proud of myself for getting the points I could for UOP," said Lloyd. "It may not have been a personal best, but I went out there and swam my best! So did everyone else on the team, and I'm proud of every person on this team! It was a great way to end the meet! Go Tigers!"
Sophomore
Caitlin Tan placed 13th in the 200-yard fly with a time of 2:04.92. Sophomore
Taylor Moultrie and freshman
Emma Hooper placed 22nd and 23rd.
Freshman Kelly Kermonian placed 19th and freshman Jordan Gonzalez, 20th in the 200-yard backstroke.
Jadyn Phillips was 22nd in the 100-yard freestyle. Junior
Vivian Truong placed 22nd in the 200-yard breaststroke.
The women finished the event by placing eighth in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The Tiger team was senior

Alexia Ferguson and Tan finished with a time of 3:28.65.
The Pacific women scored 164 points and just missed catching San Diego, 169, in the team standings, finishing ninth. UC San Diego is the 2022 MPSF women's champion.
The Pacific men finished in seventh place in the event with 186 points. Sixth-place CSU-Bakersfield had 265. BYU won the men's championship.
The top performance for the men on Saturday night came from junior
Dylan Parente, who placed in a tie for 10th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 44.59.
Sophomore
Aidan Scott placed 14th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:49.12. Junior
Walker Wilson was 20th, junior Ricky Lewis, 21st and sophomore
Alex Kurotori, 22nd in the same event.
Senior
David Noyes placed 14th in the 200-yard fly with a time of 1:51.72. Junior Alex Young, 18th, junior
Jonathan Tan, 20th and junior
Christian Schroeder, 22nd, also placed in the event.
Sophomore Aiden Vollmar placed 16th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:06.22.

Aidan Vulgas and Nick Cisco placed 20th, 21st and 22nd 1650-yard freestyle.
The men closed out the championship by placing fifth in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The team of Hopper, Parente, Frankie Fitzpatrick and Noyes had a time of 2:59.03.
