Women's Basketball Adds High-Level Talent on Signing Day

STOCKTON, Calif. – Four recruits have committed to join the Pacific women's basketball team for the 2023-24 season.

"We are excited about our incoming 2023 class," said Head Coach Bradley Davis. "Each of them brings a wealth of success and experience that we know will add to what should be an experienced Pacific squad in 2023."

Nyah Lowery is a 5'11" guard from Sacramento, Calif., who attends Saint Mary's High School and comes from a basketball family with her parents and sister all playing DI basketball. A prolific scorer, Lowery averaged 13.2 points per game her first year and 14.1 points per game her sophomore season. As a sophomore, Lowery developed into a complete player, adding 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.3 steals per game. She was named to the All-League Team in 2019-20. Lowery scored a career-high 31 points against rival Kennedy High School, which Lowery credits as her most memorable game.

"Being that she has played much of her basketball right in our backyard, we have been able to watch Nyah grow and mature as a player over the years," continued Davis. "She is a stat sheet filler in the best of ways, and we think she has a ton of potential in the years ahead. I know our Pacific family and the Stockton community are excited she has chosen to stay close to home."

Endigo Parker is a 6'4" center from Fullerton, Calif., who attended Troy High School before joining Eastern Arizona College. Parker will play the 2022-23 season at Mt. San Antonio College. With Eastern Arizona, Parkers appeared in 29 games as a freshman with two starts. She averaged 2.6 points per game in 9.6 minutes per game and scored 10-plus points twice during the season against Community Christian College and Glendale Community College. Parker plans to study Kinesiology at Pacific and wants to get into real estate after graduation, along with being a little league basketball coach.

"We have been waiting a couple of years to get Endigo on campus finally," said Davis. "Her length and defensive instincts make her a significant presence in the key, and we expect Endi to come in ready to contribute."

Jamie Kent is a 6'0" forward and wing player from Dublin, Calif., who attends Carondelet High School. Playing for one of the conference's best schools, Kent has yet to lose more than one conference game in a season heading into 2022-23. She boasts a laundry list of awards and accolades, including the East Bay League honorable mention, West Coast Jamboree MVP, Nike TOC MVP and the Sabrina Ionescu MVP. Kent has averaged 12.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 3.6 steals per game. Her most memorable game was winning the NCS against their rival San Ramon Valley High School. A sports analytics major, Kent plans to become a sports broadcaster after her playing career.

"Jamie's awards and stats speak for themselves on some level, but it is Jamie's work ethic that speaks the loudest," mentioned Davis. "We know Pacific is getting a player who knows how to win and can do a little of everything from the forward position. She can impact the game in so many ways, and we are thrilled she is a Tiger."

Kenlee Durrill is a 5'10" guard from Denver who attends Flatiron Academy. Durrill leads the state in assists and has helped her team win the conference championship every year she has played. She averaged 20.0 points and 7.5 assists per game while winning two state championships. Durrill was named First-Team All-State thrice and the 5280 League Player of the Year in 2019. Her most memorable game was the 2020 final four contest or the state championship in 2021. A multi-sport athlete, Durrill was named to the All-League First Team in volleyball as an outside hitter.

"Kenlee is a flat-out competitor who knows how to win," Davis noted. "As a combo guard, Kenlee's biggest strength is that she makes everyone around her better. She is a remarkably versatile and athletic guard who can play on the wing and at the point, and she combines that versatility with a willingness to do whatever it takes to win."
