STOCKTON, Calif. - The University of the Pacific women's swimming team started its 2021-22 season with a dual meet victory over Cal State East Bay at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool on Saturday. To secure the victory, Pacific was victorious in 11 of 14 races.

INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
The Tigers got three of the wins from freshman
Ellie Macphail in her Pacific debut. She was the first to the wall in the 500 (5:09.76) and 1000-yard freestyle (10:43.83) and the 200 yard individual medley (2:12.18).Â

Kelsey Lloyd swept the breaststroke events, winning the 100 (1:05.56) and 200-yard backstroke (2:23.40).Â

• The Tigers started the meet with a win on the 200-yard medley relay consisting of

Allie Emery in a time of 1:47.22.
• The exhibition team of
Lauren Geiger,
Allie Emery,
Alexia Ferguson and
Ellie Macphail won the 200-yard freestyle relay to end the meet.
