STOCKTON, Calif. – Beginning their second six game home stand of the season, the No. 13 Pacific women's water polo team (6-2, 4-0) will look to remain atop the GCC standings when they welcome No. 21 Azusa Pacific (3-3, 2-3) to Chris Kjeldsen Pool at the
Pacific Aquatics Center on Friday afternoon.

THINGS TO KNOW:
- In their last time out, the Tigers took down No. 18 California Baptist with a strong second half showing as Pacific doubled up the Lancers, 12-6, to a record their first road conference victory of the season and move to perfect 4-0 in GCC play.
- Having notched three straight goals in five straight matches, redshirt senior Truly Dorland currently sits third in the conference in goals (28) and fifth in steals (14). Additionally, junior Lucy Davis paces the GCC in assists with a total of 20 on the year.
- Following their quick stop in Riverside last weekend, Pacific will remain home for six consecutive contests in the coming weeks, beginning with Friday's matchup against the Cougars. Next week, the Tigers will face No. 7 Michigan on Monday and Tuesday before hosting Fresno State and Fresno Pacific on Saturday and Sunday.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS:
- Playing only one non-conference match so far this season (a 9-4 win over Fresno Pacific), Azusa Pacific has faced GCC opponents in all of their other outings this season, including dropping their last game to No. 14 San Diego State, 10-5, on Wednesday, Mar. 31.
- Historically, the Tigers have taken down the Cougars in twelve consecutive matchups, including a 13-7 win in Stockton over Azusa Pacific last year on Mar. 6, 2020.
- In the cage, goalie Olivia Lott currently ranks third in the conference with a total of 49 saves. Overall, Milena Guzmán Ortiz guides the APU offense with a team-high 13 goals and 20 points while Brianna Erickson leads the team with 11 total assists.
