STOCKTON, Calif. - Due to a scheduling shuffle with multiple West Coast Conference teams on COVID-19 pause, the Pacific men's basketball team (5-4, 2-3 WCC) and No. 1/1 Gonzaga (17-0, 8-0 WCC) will square off on Thursday night at the Alex G. Spanos Center in a contest that had originally been scheduled for Feb. 25.

THINGS TO KNOW:
- Pacific enters Thursday's contest on the heels of a hard-fought double overtime loss at BYU last Saturday, Jan. 30 by a final of 95-87. Pacific led 32-31 at halftime but would ultimately be shorthanded as the game moved into double overtime with Jordan Bell, Jeremiah Bailey and Nigel Shadd all fouling out. With the Tigers shorthanded down low, BYU shot a blistering 9-for-12 from the floor in both overtime periods to secure the win.
- Justin Moore led the Tigers with a season-high 18 points on 6-for-16 shooting while Price-Noel poured in 16 points, including a 3-for-5 performance from beyond the arc.
- Retooling his game, Bailey currently sits third in the conference in steals per game with an average of 1.75.
- Crashing the glass, senior Broc Finstuen currently paces the WCC in offensive rebounds per game, grabbing an average of 2.75 per contest.
- As the season heats up, sophomore Pierre Crockrell II is continuing to find his rhythm game-by-game as he currently sits fits in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio with a 2.00 mark.
- Thursday will be the 20th meeting all-time between the Tigers and the Bulldogs, and the second meeting in 12 days as the teams met in Spokane on Jan. 23, a 95-49 Gonzaga victory.
- Pacific is 1-18 all-time versus the Bulldogs, with the one win coming in Stockton on Dec. 23, 1976 by a final of 70-60. Gonzaga has won the last 16 consecutive meetings between the two programs.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS:
- Gonzaga continues its march to a potential number one overall seed in the NCAA Tournament with an unbeaten record and the nation's top ranking on both the AP and USA Today Coaches Poll. Since the Bulldogs' win over Pacific 12 days ago, they have taken down San Diego by a final of 90-62 and Pepperdine by a final of 97-75, both on the road.
- Offensively, Gonzaga has proven to be a well-oiled machine yet again as they currently lead the nation in points per game (94.3), field goal percentage (55.3) and two-point percentage (64.8).
- Corey Kispert leads the way for the Bulldogs, averaging 20.2 points per game, followed by Drew Timme (18.7), Jalen Suggs (13.5) and Joel Ayayi (11.9).
- Ayayi is Gonzaga's leading rebounder, pulling down 7.2 boards per contest, while Timme is averaging 6.9 rebounds per game.
- The Bulldogs' 21 straight wins dating back to 2019-20 is the longest active streak in nation, with Baylor and Drake both trailing at 17. Gonzaga's 12 straight conference wins is also the second-longest active streak in Division I behind Belmont's 24.
- Gonzaga has won 14 consecutive games by double digits, which marks the longest streak within a season by an Associated Press No. 1 team since the 1990-91 UNLV Runnin' Rebels won 19 consecutive games by 10 or more.
