Biography

Prior to Pacific:
Before his collegiate days at Kansas State, Shadd was a dominant player at Tri-City Christian Academy in Chandler, Arizona.. During his time with the Warriors, he led his team to an 82-10 overall record, including four consecutive conference titles and one state championship in 2014...Totaling 1,165 points over his career, he also finished as a state runner-up in 2015, 2016 and 2017...He also was named the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) Division 3 Player of the Year in 2017 and a CAA Division 3 All-State Team member in 2015, 2016 and 2017...Rated as a top-10 recruit in the state of Arizona coming out of high school in 2017, Shadd was a three-star recruit upon signing with Kansas State...Despite a knee injury that would cause him to miss 22 games down the stretch, Shadd played in 8 games in 2017-18, tallying averages of 1.1 points and 2.0 rebounds...The following year, he appeared in 13 games for the Wildcats as a redshirt freshman, including seeing action in seven Big 12 games in 2018-19... This past season, Shadd appeared in only 3 games for Kansas State, recording a season-high three minutes against Kansas on Jan. 21...Hailing from the city of Mesa, he joins fellow big man James Hampshire as the second Arizona native on the Pacific roster.
