STOCKTON, Calif. – Former Tigers are making waves in the big leagues as Brett Sullivan signed as a free agent with the Milwaukee Brewers for a one-year, major league contract. Sullivan was drafted out of Pacific after his sophomore season by the Tampa Bay Rays and has been steadily climbing the ranks of the minor leagues since. He was a non-roster invite to Rays spring training in 2020 and was in the major league camp before the COVID-19 shutdown.

Sullivan will be the Brewers number three catcher and is able to play corner infield and outfield positions as well. Versatility is a key component to being able to stick around in the majors and Sullivan is getting his shot to prove that.
