STOCKTON, Calif. - Capping a week (and a season) to be remembered for the University of the Pacific Women's Soccer program, Head Coaches
Danesha Adams and
J.J. Wozniak are excited to announce the four player signing class for the 2022 season. The four signees are expected to make an immediate impact for the program and University upon their Fall 2022 arrival.
"We want to congratulate and provide a huge Tiger's welcome to the now signed 2022 class. We have been waiting as patiently as possible for the time to come to make this announcement, as these four players and families showed an unwavering support of our program and both of us through their entire process and we know they are just as fired up as we are that they are now a part of our Pacific program," Head Coaches
Danesha Adams and
J.J. Wozniak said. "These four are not only extremely talented soccer players but such good people as well, they are all going to do special things both athletically and academically while on our campus. They fit very well into our newly established and always evolving team culture and identity, one that our current group of student athletes have worked so hard to develop and introduce. All four recognize the upward trajectory our program is on and they want to be a part of the group of student athletes that takes our program to all-time highs yet to be experienced by our program in the WCC and beyond. Again, a big congrats to all four of you and we are thrilled to welcome you and your families to our University of the Pacific family!"
Signees Trianne Cooper from Knox, Kentucky, Haley Johnson from Muskego, Wisconsin, Allie Jones from Leesburg, Virginia, and Alexis Pashales from Las Vegas, Nevada will form the freshman class that will look to continue Pacific's meteoric rise to establishing itself as one of the top programs in the West Coast Conference.
Trianne Cooper, Defender, Racing Louisville Academy

Head Coaches Adams and Wozniak had this to say about Trianne:
"One of the top players on our radar for this 2022 class, Trianne will immediately compete for minutes in the Center Back position for us. She has a presence and confidence about herself on the field that will add to our ongoing process of competing at the highest level in the WCC. A player who is comfortable on the ball and who is one heck of a tenacious, ball winning defender, Trianne's abilities to be good when we are both on and off the ball will fit in very well with our style and with the players in our program that are coming back next Fall. The sky is limit with how good Trianne will be and we are so excited to have the opportunity to work with her to continue to elevate her game starting next season. With that being said, we know that all the quality she already possesses will be of such great value when she arrives in Stockton and we can't wait for her showcase her talents for our Tiger community."
Haley Johnson, Forward, FC Wisconsin
Head Coaches Adams and Wozniak had this to say about Haley:
"It's always so intriguing to us how things go in the recruiting process and how it seems everyone has some sort of interesting story in regards to their path to their program but Haley's story is one of the stars just aligning and we couldn't be happier with this one working out for the Tyges. What we noticed about Haley when we watched her play is her unrelenting work ethic and commitment to doing whatever it takes to make sure her team is in a position to get the result. She can play so many roles as a forward, she can play as a target Center Forward, she can play with another forward in a 2 front, she can play out wide in the winger position and no matter where she is on the field, she positively impacts the game not just in the attack but when defending as well. She will be bringing some incredibly important traits to campus but to then include the true forward mentality as well is huge for our Tiger's program."
Allie Jones, Defender, Metro United

Head Coaches Adams and Wozniak had this to say about Allie:
"Another truly awesome story as to how Allie and our soccer program and University crossed paths, we know that Allie will step on to Knoles and Zuckerman ready to immediately impact our program. Similar to the other three in her class, Allie has played in so many important and meaningful matches throughout her youth career, having been a part of some of the biggest leagues in the United States. Those experiences alone will enable her to be more than ready and prepared to have an impact at this level but it's her attributes in the four pillars of the game that will add so much to our program. She is a very strong, physical presence across the back line but is also very comfortable and confident on the ball so she will fit in well with the way we want to play. She is good in the air, is a good defender against forwards with a variety of styles, and she communicates/organizes well, all so important characteristics of players we want to have playing in the back for us."
Alexis "Lexi" Pashales, Midfielder, Las Vegas Sports Academy
Head Coaches Adams and Wozniak had this to say about Lexi:
"Like Trianne, Lexi was identified almost immediately upon our arrival on the UOP campus as a player we wanted to dive into the recruiting process with and we are so excited that she is now a Tiger! A true center midfielder in the sense she can play in a variety of roles in that position, we know Lexi's tactical understanding of the game and match awareness enables her to influence the game in multiple ways. She has the ability to take a game over going forward, playing in the 10 role, with an inept ability to score timely goals or to find her teammates in dangerous goal scoring situations. She also recognizes when she is needed to help with more of the box-to-box role, willing to both attack and defend at an incredibly high level to help her team with whatever is needed. She has a very high soccer IQ and when you mix that with her quality technical base and her commitment to cover ground, we know we have a player that will come in ready to go from Day One to impact our UOP Women's Soccer program."
