STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's water polo team secured multiple on the Golden Coast Conference post-season honors that were announced by conference officials on Tuesday.

"All of these guys have had a great season and shown that they are some of the best players in the nation at their positions. It is inspiring to see each of them step into a totally new role and an excel at the highest level," said Pacific head coach James Graham. "These awards are well deserved and a testament to their commitment to the dream, adaptability and perseverance. I am proud of them and our entire team."


Headlining the list was Reuel D'Souza, who picked up Freshman of the Year honors to go along with All-Freshman Team and Second Team all-GCC recognition. On the season, D'Souza has scored 25 goals, assisted on 27 more for 52 total points. D'Souza leads the Tigers with 27 assists and his 25 goals are third on the team. His 27 assists are tied for the seventh most in the GCC.
 
 
Teammates Jeremie Cote and Bogdan Djerkovic were selected to the first team all-GCC. Cote leads the team with 46 goals and 60 points and is tied for fourth on the team with 14 assists. The 46 goals are tied for ninth in the GCC. Djerkvoic is second on the team with 45 goals and a team-best 50.6% shot percentage. 


The fourth honoree, Mihailo Vukazic has scored 23 goals and assisted on 21. His 21 assists are third on the team. Vukazic leads the team with eight blocks which ranks in the top 10 in the GCC.
 
The post-season awaits the Tigers, who will take part in the GCC Tournament as the No. 2 seed. Pacific will face off against the winner of the No. 3 seed UC Santa Barbara and No. 6 seed UC Irvine on Saturday at 5 p.m. on the campus of UC Irvine.
