LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Day two of the UNLV Invite included more season and personal bests, as the Tigers continued to swim well at the UNLV Buchanan Natatorium.
"Today was an exciting day for the Tigers," head coach Katelyn Herrington said. "We had some big swims, a lot of top-eight finalists and quite a few personal bests. We've been building momentum and getting stronger each session as a team."
WOMEN
- Angela Gagliardo continued showing her strengths in Nevada, winning the 400 IM in 4:21.48 and taking second in the 100 Breast with her second consecutive day of a personal best, clocking in at 1:02.05.
- Semaj Walker also performed well in the 100 Breast, taking third behind Gagliardo with a time of 1:02.21.
- Elina Rosario and Kelsey Lloyd both posted season bests in the 100 Breast, with Rosario finishing fourth with a time of 1:03.55 and Lloyd clocking in at 1:03.05 in the prelims.
MEN
- Michael Kang set a personal best in the 100 Fly at 49.74, his first-ever time under 50 seconds.
- Erik Clemensen clocked in a 56.75 in the 100 Breast for a personal best, while Brandon Reno recorded a season best of 55.63 to take third.
- Walker Wilson posted his best time in the 100 Back (50.91), just cracking the 51-second mark for the first time in his career.
- David Noyes a third-place finish in the 200 Free at 1:39.95 while the 800 Free Relay team fought well in a hotly-contested race.

LOOKING AHEAD
- Pacific closes out the UNLV Invite Tuesday in what looks to be the Tigers' best showing yet in southern Nevada. The morning session will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the evening session rounding out the Invite at 5:00 p.m.
