STOCKTON, Calif. – On Monday morning, Silver Waves Media released its 2026 Top Athletic Directors in America, naming Pacific Athletic Director
Adam Tschuor as one of its recipients.
Silver Waves Media bases the award off the opinions of search firms, sports agents, other Athletic Directors and Collegiate Athletics Executives.
Tschuor just completed his third season at the helm of Pacific Athletics in 2025-26. During his tenure, Pacific has added five varsity sports, women's basketball has reached two postseason tournaments, baseball qualified for its first ever conference tournament appearance, men's golf qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, men's water polo won two WCC Regular Season Championships, men's swimming won an MPSF Conference Championship, men's tennis reached the NIT Championship in 2024, women's tennis reached a postseason tournament, and women's volleyball reached two postseason tournaments.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING…
Pacific President Christopher Callahan: "Adam is unbelievably deserving of this honor. His strategic, forward-thinking approach has helped Pacific Athletics reach new heights, from winning championships to growing our athletic programs at a time when many collegiate athletic programs are struggling. And importantly, his efforts are bringing more student-athletes to Pacific where they have the opportunity to receive an exceptional education while continuing to compete at the highest level."Â
Pacific Women's Basketball Head Coach Bradley Davis: "Pacific obviously wanted someone who appreciated the rich history of athletics here, valued the current success across multiple sports, and most importantly had a specific vision for Pacific success in the current and changing NCAA landscape. I think we all saw those things in him, and it's not surprising but deserving that others see it as well."Â
Pacific Men's Basketball Head Coach Dave Smart: "Adam has been one of the best Athletic Directors I have ever worked with. He is extremely committed to every team and very involved and invested in every student-athlete. He lives and breathes Pacific Athletics and is incredibly helpful whenever things get tough. He has backed up everything he has promised and is very supportive of all his coaches, and because of his experience is very aware of what coaches go through. He is very deserving of this honor."
University of Dayton Athletic Director Neil Sullivan: "I've had the privilege of watching Adam move from a talented professional on our team into an outstanding leader in his own right. Congratulations on a well-deserved achievement recognizing all he has accomplished and excited to see what's ahead for him."
