University of the Pacific

2019-20 (Sophomore)
Competed in four meets for Pacific. Took first place in his season debut againt UC Santa Cruz and San Jose State (11/2) with a 314.30 in the 3m. Earned MPSF Male Athlete of the Week honors following the UNLV Invite after posting 37 points for a top-30 finish. Pennington posted a 305.95 in the 3m win and a 280.75 in the 1m runner-up showing in Las Vegas. Recorded two top-four showings at the MPSF Championships, including a runner-up score of 335.90 in the 10m to earn All-MPSF honors in Platform and 1m. Pennington finished out his season with a bang earning a NCAA Regional Qualification.

2018-19 (Freshman)
Competed in five meets for Pacific as a freshman, never finishing outside the top four during the regular season. Took fourth in both the 1m and 3m in his collegiate debut against California (10/3), then won both events at the Pacific Invite (10/12-13) with scored of 248.20 and 248.40, respectively.

High School
Went to the 2018 USA Diving Zone E Championships his senior year at University Prep, scoring a 388.65 in the 3m and 300.05 in the 1m events. Also finished with scores of 403.95 in the Far Western Diving event and a 386.40 in the 1m Capital Pre Region Invitational as a junior.
