Stockton, Calif. - Pacific field hockey enters the last week of the regular season looking for a second consecutive West Division championship as they head to Berkeley to play the California Golden Bears this Sunday at 1:00 pm.  That game will be the last before the America East Tournament starts next week on Thursday in Stockton.

The Tigers won both their games this last week at home to set a new program record for wins in a season with 13.  The previous record of 11 had been achieved twice: in 2004 and last year.

The week started with a 3-1 victory over Cal that saw Marguerite van Wyk score two more goals, giving her 17 on the season.  Only Vianney Campos in 2006 has ever scored more goals in a single season for the Tigers.  Van Wyk is also fourth in the nation in goals now.

Ali Campos also scored in that game on a feed from Savannah Burns, giving Campos eight goals this year.  Campos' 27 career goals for the Tigers is second all-time, as are her 65 career points.  The senior added two assists on Sunday against UC Davis as well.

Van Wyk, Emma Leach, Sidney Brooks, Ash Rutherford, and Alicia Muiños all scored in the Davis game, with Muiños leading the way with two goals.  Muiños now has 12 goals on the season, just one behind Savannah Burns for second on the team.  For Brooks, it was her third of the season coming on Senior Day, setting a new career high.

Cal, Pacific's final regular season opponent, is 4-10 this season, having lost 2-0 to Stanford after playing Pacific on Friday.  They will also face off with UC Davis before the game against Pacific.  The Tigers have split their two matchups with Cal the last four years straight but have a chance to sweep them with a win on Sunday.
