GILBERT, Ariz. – This year, 940 student-athletes from 76 Division I institutions earned recognition on the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
Among the near thousand athletes were Pacific's Nthabi Maine (Jr., D), Lindsie Rogers (So., M), Karlijn Roijakkers (Gr., M), Ash Rutherford (Jr., M), Tayler Silacci (Sr., M), and Marlise van Tonder (So., GK).
The Division I National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.
Rutherford and Silacci each earned their third national academic nod, while Rogers, Roijakkers, and van Tonder were named to the squad for a second-consecutive season.
