Game Notes - (at) Stanford 

The Tigers will play a pair of midweek contests against Stanford, playing a split series between Stockton on Monday and Stanford on Tuesday. Both teams are coming off conference series losses last weekend with the Tigers dropping 2-of-3 to Pepperdine while Stanford was swept by Washington. The Cardinal have won the last eight meetings between the two teams including a 5-2 win at Stanford to end the 2015 season. The win for the Cardinal propelled them into the NCAA Tournament where they would play their way into the Super Regionals.

Last Time Out

The Tigers dropped 2-of-3 last weekend against Pepperdine as the Waves took the first and third games of the series. In the two losses, the Waves combined for 32 hits and 21 runs while on Friday, sophomore WIll Lydon was able to quiet the bats as he scattered five hits and struck out 12 to earn his first win of the year. Offensively, junior Louis Mejia led the way as he .583 with five RBI and three runs scored.
