Somis, Calif. - Moving day on the links at the Saticoy Country Club, the Tigers took full advantage of their second day on the course as Pacific registered an even-par, 288. Staying put at +21 for the tournament, Pacific let the field come to them as San Francisco stumbled with a +10. Pacific was one of just two teams to shoot even par on the day as the Tigers and the Waves from Pepperdine each posted 288s. Pepperdine sits in a tie with San Francisco after two days, both four shots back of Pacific.

Individually, the Tigers saw their seniors take charge on the course as Byron Meth and Drew Bender both made moves up the leaderboard to give them a shot at the title on the final day of play. Meth, who sat in second at the end of day one, muscled his way to the top of the standings as he carded a pair of birdies to finish his day to give him a -2, 70 for the round. Overall, Meth sits even for his tournament after 36 holes of play as the only golfer to be even or better. Meth, with a two-shot lead on the competition, is just 18 holes away from repeating as the WCC Champion after taking the 2014 title last season.

Making his own run up the board, Drew Bender carded a -1, 71 on Tuesday afternoon as the senior climbed into a tie for fifth overall at +5. Bender did most of his damage on the back-nine of the course with three birdies and just one bogey as he and the rest of the Tigers began to figure out the difficult conditions at Saticoy.

Not to be outdone by the upperclassmen, sophomore SeungJae Maeng shook off a rough opening day on the course to card Pacific's best round of day two as the second-year Tiger came into the clubhouse with a -3, 69. Maeng enters the final round tied for 24th, sitting alongside of fellow Tigers, junior Matt Lee.

The Tigers will look to hold off the field and close out their first WCC title on Wednesday, April 15 as Pacific tees off in the final group beginning at 9:40 am.
