Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Track team will open its second season in program history as the 2014 slate gets underway at the Kim Duyst Invitational in Turlock, Calif. on the campus of Cal State Stanislaus.
The event features Pacific, Santa Clara, Saint Mary's and Air Force in addition to nine Division II schools, including the host Warriors.
In the first races of the season, Coach Josh Jones will look for strong performances in the distance events from sophomore Becky Grabow, who has posted impressive times during interval training this week. Jones also expressed optimism that sophomore Jessica Guerra would post an impressive time following her performances in practice in the lead up to the season-opening race.
Sophomore Mia Knipper is another runner to watch, as she continues her comeback from injuries that shortened her 2013 cross country campaign.

Following the Kim Duyst Invitational, Pacific will head to the Aggie Open on the campus of UC Davis on March 15.
