Santa Barbara, Calif. - The No. 20 Pacific women's water polo team rolled 10-1 over Azusa Pacific Saturday morning at the UCSB Winter Invite as nine different Tigers found the back of the net.
Taylor Adair tallied twice for Pacific, which also received goals from Chelsea Weir, Malena Prlain, Megan Torre, Brydie Pye, Lauren Plunkett, Morgan Hurley, Kelsey Carter and Noelle Mann.
Pacific got on the board with the lone goal of the first quarter, but Azusa Pacific's Taylor Whitney scored in the second quarter as the Tigers took a 2-1 lead into halftime.
Coming out of intermission, the Tigers exploded for eight unanswered goals, four in each quarter.
Adair leads Pacific on the season with five goals, while Weir, Prlain, Torre, Pye, Plunkett, Hurley, Carter and Mann all tallied their first of the season. Gracie Smith's goal in the season opener give the Tigers 10 different goal scorers in two games.
Meghan Nee made seven saves in goal for Pacific, while Jessica Armagost stopped four shots for Azusa Pacific.
The Tigers are back in action later this afternoon against No. 10 Long Beach State at 4 p.m.
