Box Score Stockton, Calif. - Pacific Field Hockey (4-11, 2-2 NorPac) returns to Stanford's Varsity Field Turf for a contest against No. 11 Stanford (12-4, 3-1 NorPac) on Stanford's Varsity Field Turf, the team's last designated home game before heading to UC Davis on November 1st to wrap up the regular season at Aggie Stadium.
Monday, Pacific takes on the No. 11 Cardinal in a key NorPac West clash. Pacific enters the contest 2-2 in NorPac play while Stanford will enter 3-1 in the NorPac. The Tigers will tie for the NorPac West Division lead with a victory.
The Tigers hope to rebound from a 5-0 loss to Michigan on Saturday. Seniors Emily Tregoning, Maggie Grindatti, Paige Counsman, Katelyn Tatar and Melissa Maultsby will look to add a signature win to their career highlights against the Cardinal.
Hope Burke leads all Stanford scorers with 20 points on the year (8 goals, 4 assists) while Dulcie Davies has started all 15 games in goal, holding opponents to a .91 Goals Against Average, good for second in the NCAA.
Following the designated homestead, Pacific will travel to UC Davis to end the regular season, before the NorPac Tournament begins November 7th in Lynchburg, Va. on the campus of Liberty University.
