No. 15 Pacific Tigers Fell In Straight Sets To The No.7 UCLA Bruins

The No.15 Pacific Tigers traveled to Los Angeles where they fell In straight sets to the No.7 UCLA Bruins. Set scores were 25-19, 25-19, 25-22.

With the result the Tigers fell to 11-18 (5-16 MPSF) while the Bruins improved to 16-11 (9-10 MPSF)

In the match the Tigers were led by junior Florian Gornik (Schwechat, Austria) who had 11 kills on a .214 clip. Redshirt sophomore Taylor Hughes (Fallbrook, Calif.) added an additional 8 kills while hitting .333.

As a team Pacific hit .250 and compiled 28 kills compared to UCLA's .358 and 45 kills. The Tigers out blocked the Bruins 9-2.

Pacific is next in action in their final scheduled contest of the year Saturday April 16, when they host the No.3 Stanford Cardinal.
