Final Stats

Towson, Md. - The Pacific field hockey team could not hold on to a two-goal lead, and fell to the Towson Tigers 3-2 Monday, October 11th, 2010. The Tigers couldn't salvage a win on their three game east coast trip and fell to 2-10 on the year.

Melissa Maultsby (Fallbrook, Calif.) scored her team high fourth goal of the year in the first minute of the game. Emily Tregoning (San Jose, Calif.) scored her first goal of the season just two minutes later.

However, Pacific was unable to hold onto the lead. Tabi Hatch scored twice in a twelve minute span before halftime. Both teams played even until the 67th minute, when Kristie Blumer scored to give Towson the win.

Christina Niccum (Simi Valley, Calif.) started in goal an recorded four saves. Ashlee Schlesier (San Diego, Calif.) played the second half in goal and recorded five saves.

The Tigers return home before heading up Interstate 5 to take on UC Davis on a NorPac conference game on Saturday, October 16th at 1 p.m.
