Santa Cruz, Calif. - The Pacific men's volleyball team captured another win against Grand Canyon University by a score of 3-0. This victory brings the team to 3-0 on the season, while Grand Canyon falls to 0-4 on the year.

The set scores for the match were: 30-19, 30-24, and 30-28.

In the first set the Tigers outhit the Antelopes .548 to .214. Again in the second set, the Tigers slugged .542, while Grand Canyon University hit .269. In the third set the Antelopes hit .412 and the Tigers hit .214 with 10 kills in 28 attempts.

Sophomore Chaz Hindsley (Northfield, Ill.) registered nine kills and four blocks to lead the Tigers. Sophomore Florian Gornik (Schwechat, Austria) had eight kills, while sophomore Sean Daley (Moorpark, Calif.) racked seven.

Senior Kevin Downing (Poipu, Hawaii) had 39 assists and senior Mark Bauhs (Danville, Calif.) recorded seven digs.

The Tigers take on host UC Santa Cruz on January 9 at 7:00 pm.
