DAVIS, Calif. - Pacific closed out their preseason in style, defeating UC Davis 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Jim Sochor Field.

The Tigers put together an impressive offensive display in the first half. Senior Lisa Muhl (Harleysville, Pa.) knocked in her third goal of the preseason off of a penalty corner three minutes into the game. She was assisted by fellow senior Katy McDonough (Ventura, Calif.). Muhl then returned the favor, assisting McDonough in her goal three minutes later to put Pacific up 2-0.

Kelly Perkins (Gilroy, Calif.) scored the Tigers final goal unassisted with 14 minutes left in the half.

After regulation, the teams played a 10 minute overtime that saw McDonough launch in her second goal of the day from just inside the circle.

Pacific opens their regular season at home against Missouri State on Friday, August 28. The game is set to begin at 4 p.m. on Brookside Field.
