Pacific Snaps Five-Game Losing Streak With 13-1 Offensive Barrage Over Houston

Stockton, Calif. - Friday the 13th was a lucky one for the Pacific baseball team, who unloaded an offensive display with a 13-1 victory over Houston on Friday, March 13 to snap a five-game losing streak. The Tigers scattered 15 hits in eight innings in support of their starting pitcher, senior LHP Joey Centanni (San Diego, Calif.) who dazzled on the mound surrendering five hits through eight innings of work.

With the win, Pacific moved to 4-8 on the year, as the Cougars dropped to 3-12. Centanni earned his second win on the year, while LHP Wes Musick dropped to 0-4 as a starting pitcher.

Pacific returns to action for the second game of the series against Houston on Saturday, March 14. First pitch is slated for 5:35 p.m.
