Reno, Nev. - The Pacific Baseball squad suffered through a 10-0 loss to Nevada on Tuesday, Mar. 18.
The loss dropped the Tigers to 4-14 on the season, while Nevada moved to 8-8 overall.
Nevada took advantage of a Pacific error to plate four unearned runs in the bottom of the second.
The Wolf Pack added four more runs in the third to chase starter, sophomore David Rowse (Pleasanton, Calif.) and take an 8-0 lead. Nevada added two more runs in the fourth, completing the scoring at 10-0.
Sophomore Andrew Mintun (Stockton, Calif.) was a bright spot for the Tigers, tossing two innings of scoreless relief for Pacific.
Junior Mike McKeever (San Diego, Calif.) led the Tigers' offense with two of Pacific's five hits on the day.
Nevada's Bryan Suarez (2-0) earned the victory, allowing one hit in two innings.
Rowse (0-1) suffered the loss as he surrendered seven runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks in two innings.
Pacific returns to action on Friday, Mar. 21 as the Tigers travel to Stanford, Calif. to take on the No. 18 Stanford Cardinal at 7 p.m. in Sunken Diamond.
