San Jose, Calif. - The Pacific women's water polo team fell to 0-2 on Feb. 3 with a 17-4 loss to No. 7 San Jose State. It was the Tigers' first loss on the road this season.

The Tigers scored one goal in each of the four periods in the contest as senior Kellie Fletcher (Roseville, Calif.) and sophomore Alex Kutac (Houston, Texas) led the team in scoring with two goals each. Fletcher now has four goals on the season, while Kutac's two in Sunday's loss were her first two of the young season. Ten different Spartans scored in the contest.

The Pacific women's water polo team will next be in action on Feb. 6, when they return home to play Hawaii at 4:00 p.m. in Stockton, Calif.
