Davis, Calif. - The Pacific women's water polo team dropped an 18-1 decision to the No. 9 ranked UC Davis Aggies on Friday, April 20th at Schaal Aquatics Center in Davis, Calif.
With the loss, the Tigers fall to 5-22 on the season, while the Aggies improved to 23-6.
Pacific struggled offensively on the day, playing without the nation's second leading scorer, freshman Sarah Harris (Cape Town, South Africa). UC Davis scored the first five goals of the game before the Tigers found an answer. Junior Kellie Fletcher (Roseville, Calif.) found the back of the cage with 1:25 remaining in the first to make the score 5-1.
From there it was all Aggies, as UC Davis outshot the Tigers 36 to 14 and scored 13 unanswered goals to close the contest at a final of 18-1.
Pacific is next in action on Sunday, April 22nd, as they host No. 17 Santa Clara Broncos for their regular season finale at 3pm at Chris Kjeldsen Pool.
