Tigers Swept at Long Beach State

Long Beach, California - The Pacific men's volleyball team fell in three straight games to the Long Beach State 49ers, Friday, April 14. The Tigers drop to 7-20 on the season with the loss and 5-16 in the MPSF.

Pekka Seppanen led Pacific with nine kills and Brian Adamson added nine for the Tigers.

Pacific struggled from the get-go, getting down 16-25 late in the game and never recovering. The Tigers hit .000 in game one, compared to .476 by the 49ers. More of the same was to follow in the second set as Long Beach State ran to a 30-17 victory. Pacific was within striking distance in game three, looking to push the series to an extra set. However, due to eight service errors in the set the Tigers fell 30-25.

The Tigers return to action tomorrow night in San Diego, playing UC San Diego at 7:00 pm for their final game of the season.
