Pacific Falls to No.3 UCLA 19-1

Los Angeles, Calif. The Pacific women's water polo team fell to No. 3 UCLA by the score of 19-1 on April 14 at the Sunset Recreation Center on the campus of UCLA. With the loss, the Tigers fell to 0-19, 0-11 MPSF, while UCLA improved to 22-3, 9-1 in MPSF play.

UCLA came out firing on all cylinders as they took a 9-0 lead heading into the second period of play. Senior Julia Snyder (Fresno, Calif.) then scored :47 seconds into the second quarter to make the score 9-1, but it was the closest the Tigers would get the rest of the way. UCLA went on to have 14-1 halftime lead, before posting five goals in the final two periods to make the final 19-1.

The Tigers are next in action on Friday, April 21, as they hit the road to take on UC Davis. Opening sprint is scheduled for 4pm.
