San Diego, Calif. The Pacific women's water polo dropping two games in a doubleheader played on Saturday, March 4. The Tigers fell in MPSF action to San Diego State by the score of 24-5, and Occidental 11-6. With the losses, Pacific moves their record to 0-9 on the season, 0-5 in conference play.
Senior Julia Snyder (Fresno, Calif.) led the Tigers in both games, tallying three goals against SDSU and four goals against Occidental. Snyder now leads the team in goals for the season with 17.
Sophomore Kellie Fletcher (Roseville, Calif.) scored her 14th and 15th goals of the season against Occidental, while senior Tory Ungari (Antioch, Calif.) scored her first career goal in the game against SDSU.
Freshman goalie Sara Mirels (Haleiwa, Hawaii) recorded five blocks in each of the two games.
The Tigers finish up the four game weekend road swing against UC Santa Barbara at noon on Sunday.
