Los Angeles, Calif. -
The Pacific men's volleyball team fell to UCLA in three games February 17 at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles. The Tigers dropped sets of 25-30, 25-30 and 26-30 to the Bruins on Friday night.
Despite a career night by freshman Joe Forbes (12 kills), the Pacific volleyball team could not break into the win column against UCLA for the first time ever. The Tigers played the Bruins close in all three games but could not overtake UCLA for a victory.
Both Forbes and senior Brian Adamson collected 12 kills for the Tigers offensively, however on the defense side the team managed only three total team blocks.
UCLA had three players in double-figures, Scott with 12, Klosterman with 17 and George with 11.
The loss gives the Tigers a 4-9 overall record and a 2-7 record in the MPSF. With the win the Bruins move to 9-6 overall and 4-4 in the MPSF. The Tigers are back in action Saturday, February 18 in Irvine, California.
