Men's and Women's Basketball to Feature Dignity Health Jersey Patches for 2026-27 Season

STOCKTON, Calif. – University of the Pacific Athletics and Dignity Health have announced an expanded partnership, demonstrating their deepened commitment to collaboration and bringing awareness to the importance of health and wellness in the Stockton community. Dignity Health's logo will be prominently featured on the uniforms of both the men's and women's basketball programs beginning with the upcoming 2026-27 season.

"As the proud official healthcare partner of University of the Pacific Athletics, we are honored to deepen this dynamic collaboration and be featured on the basketball jersey patches, underscoring our shared commitment to the health and well-being of our local community," said David Ziolkowski, Central Valley Market President with Dignity Health.

The expanded partnership builds on Pacific's long-standing relationship with Dignity Health, strengthening collaboration across the university's nursing, pharmacy, and physical therapy programs. Together, the organizations are working to help train and retain skilled healthcare professionals in the Stockton community.

"Expanding our partnership with Dignity Health reinforces our shared commitment to the health and well-being of our student-athletes and the Stockton community," Director of Athletics Adam Tschuor said. "Their reputation for excellence and deep investment in our community align perfectly with our mission to develop champions in competition, in the classroom and in the community. We're proud to feature Dignity Health on our men's and women's basketball jerseys and continue building on this meaningful partnership."

Dignity Health and Pacific also join forces on community health initiatives, including Community Health Clinics that address health disparities and priority needs identified in San Joaquin County. The organizations also align through the St. Joseph's Music Therapy Program, a joint effort with the Pacific Conservatory that provides evidence-based physical and mental health benefits to hospital patients.

First unveiled at the start of the 2025-26 season, the collaboration between University of the Pacific Athletics, Dignity Health, and St. Joseph's Medical Center has grown significantly. Following the recent installation of new branding throughout the Alex G. Spanos Center, including a prominent floor decal featured in game broadcasts, the partnership will further evolve in the 2026-27 season with the addition of Dignity Health jersey patches for both men's and women's basketball.
