SEATTLE, Wash. – The Pacific men and women's track and field program wrapped up the final day of the UW Invitational, hosted by Washington, with the mile run on Saturday afternoon inside Dempsey Indoor Facility.
The Tigers saw junior
Jack Weber and sophomore
Angelina Lione lead their respective teams across the finish line first for Pacific.
Weber notched a mile time of 4:13.64, becoming the fastest Pacific men's runner to complete the mile this season. Weber finished the mile in 71st place.
Joining Weber in the mile run were sophomore
Kohl Sanders and junior
Samuel Lanham. Sanders cracked the top 100 finishers in 90th place with a time of 4:15.95 while Lanham came in the 143rd position with a 4:20.90.
In the women's mile, Lione completed the race in 79th place, clocking in at 5:00.98. It marked her second fastest mile of the season.
Freshman
Emma Schmutz was the next Tiger to cross the finish line, coming in 148th place at 5:09.98. Sophomore
Alix Crawford ran her mile debut of the indoor season today with a 5:20.83.
Up next, Pacific will take part in the Wolf Pack Classic & Combined Event, hosted by Nevada, from Thursday, Feb. 5 to Saturday, Feb. 7.
