Competed in nine meets this season. Set a personal record in the indoor mile (5:04.98) at the UW Preview (Jan. 16-17). Set a personal record in the 3000 (10:01.42) at the UW Invite (Jan. 30-31). Set a personal record in the 5000 (18:25.19) at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (Apr. 3-4). Set a personal record in the 3000 steeplechase (11:47.19) at the Leopard Invitational (Apr. 16-17). Set a personal record in the 800 (2:18.33) at the Payton Jordan Invitational (May 1).

Personal
Top Scholar in high school. 12th in state XC 4A. Seventh in state for both 1600 and 3200 meter events. Daughter of Starlie and Nathan Schmutz. Has four siblings, Tye, Lacie, Alice and Abigail. Enjoys photography, hiking, camping and reading.
