BERKELEY, Calif. – The Pacific women's track and field program made its second trip of the season to the Bay Area, going with eight finishers at the Cal Opener Saturday at Edwards Stadium.
In section 6 of the 100 meter dash, graduate student
Talia Johnson sprinted with a time of 13.26 seconds.
In section 2 of the 800 meter run, junior
Sophia Livingston notched a time of 2:25.46. Livingston also was a member of the 1,500 meter run, earning a eighth place nod.
In section 3 of the 1,500 meter run, three Tigers finished in the top 25 in the event with junior
Emily Wernli, graduate student
Anahi Avila Perez and senior
Dalee Higgins in that order.
For the high jump, junior
Serena Yee registered a distance of 1.43m. Yee followed that up with a distance of 10.51 m in the triple jump.
The Tigers will next compete in the Hornet Invite on March 21-22.
