SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Pacific women's track and field program wrapped up the Hornet Invitational across the last two days at Hornet Stadium.
Pacific sent seven individuals to compete over Friday and Saturday in graduate student
Anahi Avila Perez, senior
Dalee Higgins, sophomore
Emma Kaufman, graduate student
Talia Johnson, junior
Sophia Livingston, junior
Emily Wernli and junior
Serena Yee.
In section 4 of the women's 800 meter run, Livingston recorded a time of 2:23.01. Livingston later joined Wernli and Kaufman who recorded sub-5:30 runs in the 1,500-meter run.
Johnson clocked a time 13.17 in the 100-meter dash.
Higgins and Avila Perez ran in the farthest event by a Tiger in the 5,000-meter run with times of 19:41.46 and 20:00.61, respectively.
Yee fouled out in the triple jump and did not participate in the high jump.
The Tigers look ahead to Mike Fanelli Track Classic, which will take place across three days from April 3 to April 5 at Cox Stadium.
